Jottings

• The music student who's always being followed around by two strange men in black. I listened to his solo performance, and in return for the ticket I gave him a sketch.
• Ayn takes my hand. "Hold hands until we disband," indeed!
• Ayn used the name I proposed for this piece. In exchange, should I give him a chance to name my painting? He'd probably name it "Untitled" though.
• Nekko is an electric cat that's good at dancing. It shares the same artistic talent as its owner.
• When Ayn talks about his music, I think of the little boy standing in front of the piano room, entranced by one of Mozart's "Rondos".
• When he's being photographed on horseback, he somehow spots me among the crowd. As he draws his blade, many people feel like he's reached out to their souls.
• "Trice is forever." This line on Ayn's piano score is the most accurate description of my feelings when I broke into his "bedroom" and saw that he'd just got out of bed. Is this some kind of misquote?
• If Ayn truly is the whale named Alice, even if I can't fully hear his frequency of voice and understand his language, he isn't alone and neither am I. After all, we found each other and traveled so far on our journey.
• The image of Ayn looking back at me amidst the drifting sakura makes me want to reach ou and tightly grasp the falling petals. That way, I can dismiss the tone our "departure."
• When I'm around Ayn, he always mentions his childhood subconsciously. His past has shaped him into the person he is todya, like a carving knife. I'm often grateful, but sometimes I want to travel back in time and protect him from some of his more painful experiences.

• When it comes to painting, there's a theory that when you paint shadows, the light will be revealed. When I entered the Music Club when Ayn wasn't present, I also learned about the club when he was there. If I keep painting, he'll run off the canvas.
• Beanie is the first kitten I've ever adopted. I'm confident that it will accompany me for a long time. But what about Ayn, who showed up at my house one rainy night? How many times will I get to have breakfast with him? I feel restless. I want to know the answer right now.
